2020 Lithuanian Independence Commemoration in Colorado

Join us in celebrating the 102nd Anniversary of the restoration of the independent state of Lithuania and 30 years since the reestablishment of that independence. On February 16, 1918, Lithuania proclaimed its independence from Russia and re-entered the modern list of nations. 30 years ago, on March 11, 1990, Lithuania was the first of the Soviet Republics to declare its departure from the USSR.

On February 22, 2020 we will commemorate this event with a special celebratory program, dinner and concert. Join our children, our dancers and your community to celebrate the last 30 years that have so changed our lives. Following dinner, we’ll continue the celebration with a special guest musician from Lithuania, Steponas Januška, bringing Lithuania to Colorado. Steponas Januška, jazz musician, composer, vocalist, Klaipėda University associate professor, world wide performer, international music laureate; his music is loved by romantics and those just loving to dance. A great evening is guaranteed.
